Polka dots

I love polka dots! I can’t wear them cause i don’t think they’ll suit me so when a challenge came along to make a card with polka dots, I wanted to make so many! So I did!!

My first one is a subtle polka dot background cut with Sizixx’s scallop circle from Easter paper bought from Tchibo with a butterfly cut with Sizixx bigz l die (everyday essentials) which is the only die cut i can use to cut from an Ikea cork mat as its thicker (but cheaper) than the cork mats they sell at craft stores. I cut “Happy Birthday” using lawn cuts Happy Birthday Border. The colour inspiration came from Design Seeds, a great place to find inspiration!

But the Queen of polka dots must be my mum who painted this amazing picture just with Qtips!

  2. Love the title of your blog, aren’t we all!
Lovely card, great and novel use of cork, looks great against the lovely paper.
Thank you for joining in our Wings challenge this week at Allsorts.
