Learning from the best

I bought some Tombow pens awhile back and while I love their colours, I have never really managed to use them to blend as well as I hoped. Then I stumbled upon Heather Telford’s tutorial on using Tombow pens and her creations came out so beautifully that I decided to try her technique! I do love following her blog as her painting skills are amazing!

I am so glad I tried her method cause I really love how it turned out! Thanks Heather! I coloured my Penny Black stamps directly with my Tombow markers, spritzed water on it and stamped… et voila! The side strip came from my first mixed media project. The sentiment is from Stampendous and I used Versafine ink to stamp it.

I’m giving this card to a friend who just lost someone close.

  1. I’m so glad you had fun with this tombow technique. I love the colours you chose and that stamp is one of my favourites. The colour strip on the side is such a nice feature; I might try that.

  2. Your stamping is fantastic. Love the colorful strip on the edge as well. Thank you for sharing your wonderful card with us at Stamping Sensation.
