Mass production

Another good friend of mine is leaving Ulm as part of the yearly “migration”cycle that we expats go through. I had already made her a farewell card and a digital photo album of their 3 years here, but I decided to make her a bunch of cards she wanted to give to her customers in her flower shop in Slovenia.

This is the first time I’ve “mass produced”cards and it wasn’t as tedious as I thought it would be. I first stencilled each card with the same text stencil from The Crafters Workshop but with different colours using Stampin Up inks.

I embossed each card with embossing folders from Memory Box, Darice  and Cuttlebug using my Big Shot Plus. The circles which the butterflies are on was cut using Simon says stamp Bundle of stitched shapes set and the butterfly die is from Sizixx. I used designer paper scraps I had, to cut them.

Hope you liked these quick simple cards.

I entered these cards in:

Simons Says Stamp Monday challenge – Texture

Less Is More – Something Tactile

Happy Little Stampers – Anything goes with dies

HLS AG with Dies Badge

  1. I love the texture of the embossing behind the text. We prefer to see more white space at LIM but nevertheless, what a gorgeous set of cards.
    Thanks for sharing with us.

  2. These are gorgeous! Your friend is going to love them – fab gift for her! They’re a little busy for Less is More where we need some empty space, but what beautiful cards… thanks so much for sharing 🙂
