When CASual Fridays Stamps came out with this stamp, I knew I had to have it! This was so appropriate for what I’ve been going through the last year. Although I’m right in my menopause stage, I’ve never felt so young and creative, even when I was young(er)! Having pre-teens in the house help a lot, along with younger friends whom I do sports with… and party! Card making has also contributed enormously to keeping my brains young and creative, all the techniques I’ve learnt from the incredibly kind and supportive card making community in Blog land and it is because of card making that I started learning to draw and paint too.
I hand drew the chillies and coloured one with my Prismacolor pencils, and the other with my Zigs clean color real Brush. I fussy cut it and adhered it to a panel I cut with my fancy scissors. The sentiment was stamped in Versamark before heat embossing the Wow embossing powders. I stuck this panel to a red card and it was finished!
I had entered a similar card to a card competition last week, here is the original design:
If you want to vote for me here, you have only today to do it before the competition ends on the 15th of April! Hope you’ll support me!

What a fun take on our cue word. Great hand-drawing and colouring of the chillies – caught my eye as both my husband and son love chillies! So happy you could play in the CASology challenge this week.
