Waste not Want not

This was a very quick simple card to make so it will be a quick and simple post! I used the Perfect Card Making Formula which I talked about here, and scraps from a card I made which I wasn’t happy with in the end.

Feathers thank you cropped

I first die cut the intricate frame using Spellbinders Art Nouveau Floral Swirls die, stamped it with Versamark, poured gold Wow embossing powder over it and heat embossed it. While waiting for it to cool, I took the largest Feather die from Spellbinders Feather Etched die set and die cut two feathers from a piece of scrap card.

Can you tell which Hero Arts stamp I used? Yes its the color layering Hydrangea set which I had previously stamped on watercolour paper with Altenew inks

Feathers thank you cu

I love the pattern it gives onto the feathers, don’t you? I stamped the sentiment, from Dixie stamps, onto a banner which was cut using a die from the MFT blueprint 20. I heat embossed the sentiment and adhered first the gold frame, the feathers and then the little Thank you banner.

Thanks for stopping by and I would love to know what you think of my card!
