Guest Designer – a2z Scrapbooking blog + video

I am so thrilled to be a guest designer at the a2Z Scrapbooking blog today! Please go over and have a look. When Chark asked if I wanted to be their guest designer, I really couldn’t believe it and was really honoured at being asked as the past guest designers who appeared on the blog are well known established card makers!

I love using Hero Arts products and there are not many challenge blogs out there showcasing them so I was happy to find a2zscrapbooking blog who have a monthly challenge using Hero Arts products. I was doubly lucky to win a voucher to their Etsy shop a few months ago to add more Hero Arts stamps to my stash!

Today I made a special watercolour scene card to share with all of you so I hope you like it. Its the first time I’ve created such a scene and I also made a video out of it for my new You Tube channel, which you can find below.

I used Hero Arts Color layering flamingo and Color layering poppy to make the “water lilies” which I stamped with Altenew’s Shades of purple mini cube set. For the background, I used my Zigs Clean Color real water brush pens and a water brush to create it. I love how they leave an almost a fluorescent look! The sentiment comes from the layering flamingo set and was stamped in Versafine ink. I cut the watercolour panel with MFT Blueprint 20 scallop die and adhered it onto a pink base before adding it to a red card base.
