Hi everyone! We have a new Encouragement challenge over at the Calling All Sistahs blog and we have a gorgeous mood blog to inspire you to make a card which will cheer someone up. All you have to do is:
- Make an encouragement card inspired by the photo or colors or both.
- Link up here by 12am EST on the 13th
- Share with your friends and followers so we can get the word out about our challenge.
One person will win a $25 gift code to use on anything in the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps store. All products are welcome, but if you use CAS-ual Fridays stamps or dies on your card, Michele will DOUBLE your prize! Woah!! So I look forward to seeing your card on our challenge blog.
I’m into water-coloured wreaths at the moment, if you hadn’t noticed… ;)! So I stamped the flower buds and leaves from CAS-ual Fridays Mon Ami stamp set onto Canson 300g watercolour paper with a light Momento green ink in a wreath arrangement and water coloured it using my Winsor and Newton paints. It was my first time trying to “paint” white flowers and I did so by colouring around the buds in a darker shade so that the whiteness in the buds would stand out. To finish, I added some white and brown ink splatters.
I then cut this panel with my craft scissors and adhered it onto a brown card base.
Well I hope you liked my card and that you’ll hop over to the Calling All Sistahs challenge blog to see what other amazing cards my fellow “sistahs” have created to inspire you to play along with us.
