Hi all! Its the 1st of the month and a new challenge starts at Creative with Stamps where the theme is “Bunny”. I don’t have any bunny stamps, but I just ordered loads, so while waiting for them to arrive, I bought this adorable digi stamp from “Pretty Cute Stamps” as the minute I saw it, I laughed like crazy and I had to have it!
This card incorporates 3 things I rarely use; digi stamps, pattern paper and a ribbon! I first printed my bunnies on Clairefontaine 250g multi-technique paper and coloured them with a dark brown Zig clean color real brush cause I’m lactose intolerant so I only eat dark chocolate! I’m not sure what happened to the earless bunny but his poor head looks so patchy in the photo…anyway, I then stamped the prairie of flowers using one of my very first stamps from a German company called Viva Decor. I didn’t mask the bunnies, I just coloured each portion of the stamp with my Zig watercolour brushes and carefully stamped it around the bunnies.
I added the design paper which comes from a set of Japanese paper a friend gave to me afew years ago but never used, and then cut the whole panel with Stamplorations Crazy double running stitch rectangle die. I adhered this to a pale blue card stock and then added everything on a white card base. I felt something was missing and tried adding washi tape but somehow I felt it just needed a ribbon, probably cause chocolate bunnies often come with ribbons!
Well I hope you like my card and that you’ll pop over to the Creative with Stamps blog to see what other amazing creations my teammies have created to inspire you to join us in this month long challenge.
Thanks for stopping by and your comments really warm me in this cold cold winter we’re having here in Germany!
I’m sharing this over at:
