Baby boy card

Hi all, how’s your weekend coming along? Mine’s nice & relaxing now as I got a good 10h sleep last night after afew weeks of too little sleep. We’re now on our way to a friend’s place for a bbq & a dip in the pool to get some relief from the heat here in Madrid, so life is good! 🙂

I made a second card for a baby boy with two stamp sets. The bears & pram are from Stamplorations & the balloons from Concorde & 9th and they are perfect for a boy’s card I think. I then stamped, masked, stamped, masked… around the name I had previously printed on Clairefontaine 250g multi-technique paper. I used Winsor and Newton watercolours to paint everything except the name, which was coloured with a black whiteboard marker! I also added in some hearts, by hand, at the advice of my mother in law & I think it finished the card perfectly.

The panel was adhered to a blue card base custom created from card stock as it is a large cards, measuring around 20cm x 15cm. I really enjoyed making these cards and I think they’ll be my template for birth cards as they can also be framed. What do you think?

Well thanks for stopping by & I hope you are having a great weekend too!

I’m sharing this with:
