Foil la la la

I’m on a roll! Not only have I made all my DT cards in time, I have sent most of my Christmas cards out already and I still have time to make cards just for the pleasure of it! This card is one of the just for fun ones and I combined my iCraft Emerald deco foil & WoW Embossing powders to make it.

I just covered my Spellbinders “Seasonal” diecut with embossing glue, placed the foil on it, pressed hard and pulled off. Easy Peasy! I then added a little more glue to some areas, sprinkled some of what I call my “Merry Christmas” WoW embossing glitter cause its red and gold (its real name is “Heart Throb”), did the same with gold WoW embossing powders in other areas and heat embossed it.

The foil on its own is just beautiful but the embossing powders add that extra bling! The centre sentiment from Clearly Besotted was stamped with Versamark clear ink and heat embossed with the same “Metallic Gold Rich” Wow embossing powder.

Well I hope you liked my card and that it gave you some more ideas for your Christmas cards. Let me know if you mix foil and embossing powders too as I would love to come visit. Have a great creative day!

  1. Stunning. Ive shared to Facebook, hope that’s ok,? I’ve not seen foil and EB together on a card like this before. Thankyou for the inspiration I’m 100% going to try this one. Xxx
