Hi all, I’m back this Wednesday to show you a card I made for our Clean and Simple challenge over at Addicted to Stamps and More. I hope to see many of you over at the challenge gallery!
Clean and simple for me usually means no layers and I set out to make a one layer card but my initial card was a mess so I fussy card the image I had planned and adhered it to this card, but I think I still managed to make it “clean”. Obviously, it would have been cleaner if I didn’t add any splatters but I still haven’t got over my craze for them so…
I was inspired to make this card by the monochromatic challenge over at Create A Smile, a German stamp company. I first masked and stamped the tropical flowers from their Aloha Spirit stamp set and heat embossed them with Wow white embossing powder. Emerald Green Brushos paint powder was used to colour it and the background too. The sentiment comes from Imagine Design Create “Black Sentiment “stamp set. So a completely European card!
I hope this has inspired you to join our CAS challenge and please go over to the Addicted to Stamps and More blog and give the other DTs some love too! Thanks for stopping and have a great day!
Hugs,
I’m also sharing this over at:

Thud! Wow, Gwen, this card rocks in so many ways! Everything that happened made this card a standout! I love that you ended up fussy-cutting the image because that added tons of depth! And never apologize for schplatters and free-flowing paints! It looks easy, but it takes skill and your background here is amazing. My problem is forgetting to ADD schplatters which I think really kicks up a CAS design!! I’m bookmarking this to remind me! Hugs, Darnell
