Happy Easter!

addicted to stamps

Hi all! It’s Wednesday, and so another challenge starts at Addicted to Stamps and More challenge blog and the theme is “Holiday”. We’re right in the middle of our 2 week Easter holidays, but my son has his IGCSE’s right after the holidays so we didn’t go anywhere, which is fine with me as I get more time to craft and paint!

I had the idea for this card as soon as I saw the cute animals from Altenew’s Bunny Love stamp set. I had seen a sketch somewhere with a bunny lying on the ground with the text “I can’t go on”, and thought it was funny as we’ve all had one of those days. But since Easter just went by, I wrote “Too much chocolate” instead, which is probably appropriate for most of us at the moment I think! 😉

The trees and little house is a border diecut from Stamplorations and I coloured the whole card with my Zig watercolour brushes.

Well I hope you liked my card and it will inspire you to join in our challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More. I look forward to seeing your creations in the challenge gallery.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Hugs,

  1. Superbe ! Cet adorable poussin me fait bien rire, c’est exactement comme ça que je me sens après avoir mangĂŠ tous les chocolats de Pâques ! Une magnifique mis en scène et de jolies couleurs bien printanières. J’adore. Passe un très bon weekend. x

  2. Oh, Gwendolyn – I love your cute and funny Easter card!!! What a creative idea and I love the background you created for your poor little chick. I’m going away with a big smile on my face!
I hope you had a good Easter break.
