Deep Blue

challenge 340.jpgHi all! Its Wednesday today so another challenge starts at Addicted to Stamps and More and this week we have a beautiful photo board to inspire you. How will you interpret these dreamy images?Droplets stencil productsI decided to try and reproduce the top right-hand image of swirling waters using my new Spectrum Noir water reactive ink pad on my new Droplets stencil from Crafter’s Companion. I couldn’t believe the juiciness of the ink pad and I had to be be very careful not to put too much on my blending tool so I wouldn’t put too much ink on my card. Droplets stencil cuAfter I finished blending through the stencil, I put some random brush strokes using Spectrum Noir artliner brush pens and went over the whole card with the Forest lake ink again, being careful to leave the centre white. I then added afew white strokes to create the swirling water impression and finished with the Happy Birthday diecut from Gemini.

I still have mixed feelings about this card. Sometimes I look at it and think its rubbish and other times I like it… What do you think? While you’re pondering over this question of utmost importance, I hope you’ll hop over to the Addicted to Stamps and More challenge blog and see the really beautiful creations the other DTs have made, just to inspire you to join the fun!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great crafty day!

  2. Absolument magnifique, Gwendolyn !
