Hero Arts September challenge

challenge imageHi all! Its the 15th of the month so another challenge starts at “A Blog Named Hero”, the official challenge blog for Hero Arts. This month we are asking you to create something that was inspired by another crafter, using Hero Arts products of course! product  I think this is a great way to pay tribute to the crafters that have inspired us and helped us bring our craft to a higher level. For me, without all those crafters that spend time creating and sharing their amazing creations, I would not have even started crafting, let alone know all the techniques that I use today! So today’s post is dedicated to all the crafters that have inspired me the past 4 years!cuFor today’s card, I was inspired by the amazingly talented Nicole Spohr. Even though her card is a Christmas card, I was inspired by her use of a cover die over a coloured card base. While she used the Snowflake pattern cover plate Die, I chose to use my Flower garden fancy die. I think this must be my favourite cover die as I can change the colour to suit the season! Here I used Hero Arts reactive inks to create an Autumn feel to my card. The sentiment die and stamp comes from the Happy stamp and cut set.

I look forward to seeing your inspired cards in the challenge post linkup. Don’t forget to tell us who you were inspired by! Thanks for popping by and have a great day!

  1. I love the colors on your background die, it’s so delicate and beautiful.
The sentiment really pops against those flowers.
Thank you for playing with us at THE FLOWER CHALLENGE.

  2. A lovely card and it’s great to see you at Stamping Sensations challenge, but reading your post the only stamping seems to be the word Birthday, as a stamping challenge we ask that the focal element is stamped to reflect the theme (all mentioned on our posts and rules page).
