Hi all! Its the 1st of February in Aussieland and so another challenge starts at Happy Little Stampers Watercolour Challenge. This month, we want to see some bling on your creations but you’re more than welcome to play with just your watercolours. You have until the end of the month to share your creations with us and I look forward to seeing them in the link-up here.
As its the month of LOVE, I wanted to make a Valentine’s day card for a dear friend who’s newly single, to remind her that she is loved. I love all the friendship sentiments that come in this stamp set by Crafters Companion and I wanted it to take centre stage. So I embossed it with 2 different colour powders from Wow embossing powder and then framed it with some sparkling watercolours from Spectrum Noir and the Contemporary Lace embossing folder from Crafters Companion. I wish you could see the sparkle on my card!

What a great set of sentiments from which one can choose in those Crafter’s Companion stamps! Love the way you’ve used yours, especially with the gorgeous watercoloured and embossed diagonal corners. A gorgeous card, Gwendolyn! I saw this EF the other day and loved the way it just embosses the corners. Now I’ve seen your card, I’m hooked! I love the way you brought the details to the fore with your beautiful sparkle colouring! I can imagine how stunning it looks IRL along with the lovely sentiment! This is a new medium for me.
