Hi all! I’m back today to share a Christmas shaker card I made for the Merry Little Christmas challenge blog. I’m really loving taking my time creating these cards and I hope you will too and share your lovely Christmassy creations with us!Today, I used this gorgeous diecut from Crafters Companion and made a shaker card with it. As its an intricate die, I made sure not to cut it from too thick a paper so that it would cut well. Once it was cut I heat embossed it with gold embossing powder. To colour in the baubles, I fussy cut some marker papers to the size of the baubles, stuck it behind the baubles and coloured them with my Spectrum Noir Illustrator alcohol markers.I then adhered a piece of acetate behind the diecut pane, placed some sequins onto the inside of the card and closed the front diecut panel with acetate onto it. So I didn’t add any foam tape to add depth, just regular adhesive strips.Well I hope you liked my card and that it inspired you to create something to share with us. All our challenges are “Anything Goes” so feel free to make any sort of home deco and not just a card.
I look forward to seeing your creations in the link-up here. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day doing something you love!
